Other Notable Scores:
Edison 35, Bullard 0

Wow! Talk about the stars coming out. Jerry Davis's
passing, Cooper, Tate, and Dixon's rushing, Jefferson and Carter's receiving
and the Tigers great defensive effort sent the Knights reeling. Special
note - the Tigers special teams were awesome as well, even made all their
extra points (Zamora kicks). No doubt, a new number one, the Edison Tigers.

Buchanan 38, Clovis 7
|
Meanwhile, the Bears still lead the Tri-River. OK,
hands please, how many thought this would happen? Jake Henderson 22-28
passing, yessir. Corvaugn Archie leads a getting tougher defense. This is
a good team. Big test coming up Thursday vs Clovis East.

Washington Union 41, Sierra 0
|
Feathers to Crunk, Feathers to end zone,
seems to be working pretty good for the Panthers. Don't forget that stingy
Panther defense as the boys from Easton continue to lead the North Sequoia
League.
|
Central 25, Madera 20
|
The Grizzlies score 25 straight points, then the
Coyotes score 20 straight. Rakim Dawkins continues his pace with 196
rushing yards for the Griz. Madera always stronger in the second half this
year.
|
Sunnyside 26, Reedley 7
|
The Wildcats recover from the loss to Fresno with
a convincing win over a tough Pirate squad. Another NYL showdown coming up
Friday as San Joaquin Memorial visits Sunnyside.
